2010 ColloquiumAs a result of the wonderful discussions at the CMAA Colloquium and encouragement of my colleagues, I am offering a new service today: Sacred Music Group Coaching. The details are here.
This is a concept that most people will be unfamiliar with, but I’ve seen it deliver astounding results in the business setting. The idea is that you get together a group of people who have a common interest, create an environment where they can openly discuss issues and trust each other, and help propel each person toward taking concrete action toward their personal goals.
As a professional coach, my role is to focus and facilitate the discussions, to arrange the logistics, and ensure that each person gets a great deal of value from the experience. One way I’m doing that is to also include a one-on-one coaching discussion with each individual, to help focus on the tangible and intangible goals.
Since this is the first time that I’ve offered this service to the Sacred Music community, I’m hoping there will be lots of lively discussion around how we can build this concept to help take our leadership to higher level.
